As of Midnight today the United States Government has shutdown.
What does that mean for you?
Probably nothing immediately unless you are a government employee.
What this could mean long term...
The United States of America is not only a country but it is a business.
In business we need to have more revenue coming in then you have going out. If we don't you shutdown and go out of business.
As a "Superpower" country we cannot go out of business, so the elected officials need to COMPROMISE and create a budget where we are spending less then the amount is coming in.
There are over 22 million business within the USA that realize that if we spend more money then we have coming in that business will not be very successful.
Making cuts in business is not anything new:
Just ask teachers police ,officers, and firefighters about PAY cuts
Does anyone in the Senate, House of Representatives or the President have what it takes to say we all need to take a PAY CUT
That is where it starts
Major corporations make cuts all the time when they don't have enough money, they don't BORROW more money
Let's put this in a real person prospective
I own my business....
I do not have enough money to pay all my bills....
I call American Express to raise the limit on my card....
They are not going to raise the limit on my card so I can pay Rent or Utilities or Payroll
Does this make sense to you....
Washington is out of hand with spending and no one cares
Our country has realized that being in debt that is over our heads is the norm
Us as humans are monkey see monkey do....
The government is in a crazy amount of debt so I am going to do the same thing
Politicians have their own personnel agendas and don't care about how that will affect the country
We also have our own personnel agendas and we don't care if it affects anyone else
Everyone is a complainer but no one wants to CHANGE
This is not a difficult process.....Don't spend more then you make
Need help budgeting you finances?
